Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Redford, Michigan. In this Contract to permanent position, you will handle key financial functions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, while also managing daily office operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills and administrative expertise. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. u2022 Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and payment collection. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations. u2022 Perform data entry tasks to update accounting and administrative records. u2022 Oversee office operations, including coordinating supplies and managing workflows. u2022 Process invoices and verify proper documentation for financial transactions. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial and administrative processes. u2022 Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. u2022 Maintain organized filing systems for both financial and administrative documents. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. u2022 Proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software. u2022 Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail. u2022 Knowledge of invoice processing and financial documentation. u2022 Ability to manage office operations effectively. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Strong communication skills for team collaboration. u2022 Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
