Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels at driving accurate financial reporting, managing employee programs, and streamlining processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting both operational performance and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. u2022 Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciliations and resolution of outstanding items. u2022 Perform cash, bank, and credit card reconciliations to maintain a transparent financial outlook. u2022 Process payroll with precision, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. u2022 Monitor inventory valuation and pricing data to ensure alignment with financial reporting. u2022 Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to support leadership decision-making. u2022 Collaborate on internal and external audits by providing thorough documentation and analysis. u2022 Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance. u2022 Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in payroll, benefits, and reporting. u2022 Administer employee benefits programs and address inquiries with professionalism. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. u2022 A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, payroll, and benefits administration, preferably within a manufacturing environment. u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing and benefits regulations. u2022 Proficiency in accounting and payroll software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Paychex. u2022 Strong analytical and organizational skills with an ability to solve complex problems. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively across all organizational levels. u2022 Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting and financial statement preparation. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
