This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all concrete activitiesu2014including formwork, rebar, embeds, placement, finishing, and curingu2014on large, complex heavy civil, industrial, and vertical construction projects. The Concrete Superintendent plays a critical role in maintaining Kiewitu2019s reputation for delivering challenging work on time, on budget, and with an uncompromising commitment to safety. District Overview Kiewitu2019s Eastern District specializes in challenging heavy civil construction projects throughout the Northeast, including the metropolitan areas of New York, Chicago, Boston, and Washington DC. We are leaders in bridge, transit, foundation, tunnel, and water/wastewater construction while specializing in cast-in-place concrete, structural steel erection, earthwork, pile driving, and caissons. Kiewitu2019s Eastern District also has a large amount of work in the energy/power sector in various northeast locations. These projects are happening in large cities and small towns, so you have a chance to experience it all Responsibilities u2022 Provide supervisory direction of craft workers via the general foreman and foreman, managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence for all concrete related work.
