Your role and responsibilities The Associate Package Specialist is an entry-level role focused on supporting the implementation, configuration, and production support of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business application solutions.This role is ideal for individuals interested in how businesses operate and how systems enable those operations, not just how technology is built.You will help connect business needs to system solutions, supporting operational areas such as finance, accounting, supply chain, procurement, and HR processes.As an Associate Package Specialist, you will:u00b7 Support ERP implementations across key phases: requirements, configuration, testing, and deploymentu00b7 Assist in aligning system functionality with business processes (finance, accounting, supply chain, HR, etc.)u00b7 Participate in business requirement gathering and documentationu00b7 Support system configuration and data validation activitiesu00b7 Assist with testing (UAT) and issue resolutionu00b7 Help maintain and support live production systemsu00b7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational workflowsu00b7 Support production environments by helping analyze issues and contribute to resolution effortsu00b7 Support packaged application implementations across phases such as requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and production supportu00b7 Build consulting, business process, and packaged application expertise through structured training, mentorship, and hands-on delivery experience. In this role, associates assist with activities such as requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and post-implementation support while learning how Workday supports core HR and compensation processes. The position focuses on building foundational Workday, business process, and consulting skills through hands-on project work, collaboration with teammates, and guidance from experienced practitioners, with responsibility increasing as skills and experience develop.An Associate Package Specialist aligned to SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) supports the implementation and maintenance of SAP SD solutions as part of a delivery team. In this role, associates assist with requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and issue resolution while learning how SAP SD supports order management, pricing, and fulfillment processes. The position focuses on developing foundational SAP and business process knowledge through hands-on project work, collaboration with teammates, and guidance from experienced practitioners, with responsibility increasing as skills and experience develop.Depending on the practice and client engagement, associates may focus on one or more of the following Business Applications areas:u00b7 Workday HCM & Compensationu00b7 SAP SCM SDAdditional tools, technologies, and training are provided by practice teams based on client and project needs.Work Location & Onsite ExpectationsThis role is based in an IBM FutureNow Center (FNC) and requires regular onsite presence at the assigned delivery center.
