The internship will run from June through Early August. Intern may be scheduled for up to 35 hours a week based on the operational needs. Job Duties: + Work closely with the School-Age Programs team, supporting summer projects such as Summer Adventure programming, our annual Summer Writing Contest for Kids, and our new Summer Meals program. + Support frequent communication between the programming team and the branch libraries + Collaborate effectively as a member of a dynamic team. + Gain insight into how Youth Programming contributes to the library's overall mission ( and operations. Job Requirements: Required Education/Qualifications: + Must be a student currently enrolled at a participating SUNY campus + Candidates must be detail-oriented, possess outstanding communication and organizational skills. + Experience with various computer applications + Interest in youth programming, community outreach and non-profits is a plus This internship will require travel across the Bronx, Manhattan and Staten Island in order to appropriately support our colleagues in the branches.
