The nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. The CNA-to-patient ratio is 1:10, and all CNAs are cross trained as unit clerks. This is a great environment for critical thinking, problem solving and career advancement.Job SummaryUnder the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities. The Nursing Apprentice II role provides an opportunity for students that have graduated from a nursing program to enhance clinical skills in a hospital environment when applying for licensure/registration to the Nursing Regulatory Body to take the NCLEX Examination. The Nursing Apprentice II adheres to the American Nurses Association (ANA) standards of professional nursing and performance, and the ANA Code of Ethics (2015) to provide care to all patients. Utilizes the Theory of Human Caring and Caritas in daily practice.
