JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities Works with Director, CoreLaboratories to provide the expertise and resources needed to contributesignificantly to research projects that require fluorescence activatedcell sorting and/or analysis. Provides guidance/education/training forthe userbase and other technical staff in the operation of cytometryinstrumentation and experimental procedures Assists in operating,calibrating, and performing routine maintenance on instrumentation inthe Flow Cytometry Core. (Celesta, Symphony, Accuri, Aria, Discover,ImageStream, Aurora, CytoFLEX) Troubleshoots assays, develops newexperimental tools, and performs technical analyses to progress researchprojects involving flow cytometry. Participates in hands-on researchprojects that may involve sample procurement and processing through dataanalysis and delivery Attends required laboratory and research municate with team members, research partners, and the userbase aboutresearch activities and data interpretation Stays current withinformation related to the field of flow cytometry and the researchbeing performed. Routinely participates in continuing educationactivities Performs other duties as required or assigned which arereasonably within the scope of the duties in this classification.Willingness and agility to adapt and grow within the ever-evolvingresearch environment. Adheres to BCW, Biosafety, NRC (Nuclear RegulatoryCommission) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)procedures and regulations.
