The group's main business is theimplementation of mission critical digital mobile communication systemsfor Government & Public Safety Communications customers.Job DescriptionThe Field Engineering team plays a crucial role in enhancing publicsafety by deploying Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile Applications,and Records Management Systems (RMS). They handle all on-premisehardware and equipment installations for government and municipalprojects, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensureconsistent quality and promote efficient standardization and reuse.Responsibilities Managing and executing customer installation activitieswithin agreed upon project timeframes. Verifying the completefunctionality and readiness of systems for software deployment.Conducting routine system tasks like software updates, system upgrades,data backup/restoration, and troubleshooting. Gaining a deepunderstanding of public safety customer environments to ensure optimalproduct security and reliability. Demonstrating proficient software andIP networking skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities.Deliver solutions that align with existing products, standardinterfaces, and pre-defined procedures. Adhering to all corporateguidelines and completing required training, including CJIS compliance.Accurately logging billable hours for project work.
