Description We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will handle business-to-business collections while maintaining professionalism and accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and a proven ability to manage a high volume of accounts effectively. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and oversee business-to-business collections for a portfolio averaging 286 accounts. u2022 Utilize Excel tools, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, to analyze data and streamline collection processes. u2022 Conduct virtual training sessions to ensure consistent adherence to collection policies. u2022 Collaborate with clients to resolve outstanding invoices and maintain positive relationships. u2022 Implement effective strategies to reduce delinquency rates and optimize cash flow. u2022 Monitor account status and generate detailed reports on collection activities. u2022 Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to negotiate payment plans. u2022 Address billing discrepancies promptly and ensure accurate account reconciliation. u2022 Maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. u2022 Work independently while coordinating with team members to achieve collection targets. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial collections or a related field. u2022 Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. u2022 Proven expertise in managing and resolving business-to-business accounts. u2022 Familiarity with billing collection processes and credit-related procedures. u2022 Excellent communication and negotiation skills. u2022 Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Self-motivated and capable of working independently. u2022 High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
