The ideal candidate will combine a passion for outdoor design with proven sales ability, exceptional communication skills, and a customer-centric pensation Salary+ CommissionDuties Identify and develop new business opportunities in both residential and commercial sectors. Present and promote landscaping products and services (retaining walls, hardscapes, irrigation, sod, trees/shrubs, lighting, maintenance plans, etc.). Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, general contractors, property managers, and homeowners. Prepare accurate proposals, estimates, and bid submissions; negotiate contracts and close sales. Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve annual sales targets.- Provide technical guidance on product selections, compatibility, and installation requirements. Collaborate with project managers and installation crews to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive offerings, and market conditions. Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and community activities. Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.Skills Minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience in landscaping materials and services for residential and commercial markets. Strong knowledge of landscape materials, hardscaping, irrigation, permeable pavers, lighting, soils, and related products. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Able to read and interpret drawings, specs, and estimates; comfortable with technical discussions. Valid drivers license; willingness to travel within the service area as needed. Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office, Excel, and proposal software. Strong problem-solving, organization, and time-management abilities.
