Start Date: Immediate JobDescription: What You?ll Do The lead assembler is responsible weldingaluminum, copper, and also for hooking up leads on secondary and primarycoils and accessories for single and three phase transformers In thisFunction: Position and shape the leads for proper clearances withintank. MIG welds aluminum leads to bus bars, bus bars to stub-outs.TIG welds copper bus bars. Welds, glues, and crimps secondary leadsto coil. Assembles and hooks up dual voltage switches, tap changerssingularly or in gangs and other accessories required. Must take intoconsideration the positioning, clearances, etc., required for tanking.Fit, and cut braces for secondary and primary leads, including layout.Bolts onto core and coil frame. Measure and cut the leads to properlengths. Measure, cut, strip, insulate and crimp terminals on otherrequired leads. Does fabrication rework on cores & parts called for byNCR?s and ECN?s by engineering. Minor coil repair, as needed.Forklift and Overhead Crane competency. Read Blueprints &Schematics. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED(General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is required.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United Stateswithout company sponsorship, now or in the future.
