Job Title

The Material Handler is responsible for assisting with unloading inbound shipments safely and moving product to storage locations. Shift: 1st, 7:00am-3:00pm Essential Duties: + Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas + Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage + Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. + Performing picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service requests + Assist in physical inventory + Efficiently move product from staging areas into rail cars or trailers + Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, putaway, and load functions, as required + Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. + Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. + Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards to unload and load shipments safely. + Assist with proper stock rotation + Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams. + Report all quality-related issues to the Supervisor. + Maintain quality service by following the Organization Standards. + Participate in the Company's Safety program + Maintain 5-S standards and housekeeping. + Will be required to perform other duties as requested. + High School Diploma or equivalent + One (1) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment + Any appropriate combination of academic and work experience + Must be forklift certified and maintain a valid certification At Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed, our employees have pride in belonging to an organization whose culture is made up of these core values: Trust, Empowerment, & Collaboration.
