Description We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our business operations and ensuring compliance with established financial and operational standards. This position offers a clear growth path, with the opportunity for promotion to Manager within 1 to 1.5 years for high-performing individuals. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead compliance testing initiatives during the initial months, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and accuracy in processes. u2022 Conduct operational audits to evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement. u2022 Plan and execute audit engagements, managing project teams and delivering actionable recommendations. u2022 Develop risk-based audit strategies to address organizational challenges and drive process enhancements. u2022 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate audit findings and support corrective actions. u2022 Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level audit staff, fostering growth within the team. u2022 Establish effective audit workflows and reporting mechanisms to streamline operations. u2022 Analyze financial data and operational practices to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions. u2022 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulatory requirements. u2022 Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and business processes. Requirements u2022 Certification such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent is strongly preferred. u2022 Experience in public accounting, ideally with a Big 4 or large regional firm, or substantial internal audit experience. u2022 Proven ability to lead audit engagements and manage project teams effectively. u2022 Strong understanding of compliance requirements, internal controls, and operational audit principles. u2022 Demonstrated success in both public accounting and internal audit roles. u2022 Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. u2022 Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Ambitious and adaptable, with a desire for career growth and leadership opportunities.
