Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant + Handle full-cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close + Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP + Partner closely with leadership on reporting, process improvements, and day-to-day accounting operations + Support audit processes and maintain strong internal controls + Analyze financial data and assist with decision-making support + Collaborate cross-functionally across departments + Take on increasing responsibility over time with a path toward leadership About the Company This organization is a well-established, community-focused financial institution with a strong reputation across Connecticut.
