Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client's team in New York, NY. In this role, you will manage key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a proven ability to handle complex transactions and reporting. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate entries. u2022 Oversee payment processing and vendor payments with precision and adherence to deadlines. u2022 Perform month-end closing tasks, including reconciliations and financial reporting. u2022 Verify payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance. u2022 Maintain and update records in QuickBooks Desktop, ensuring all transactions are properly categorized. u2022 Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements. u2022 Prepare detailed financial reports and assist in analyzing financial data. u2022 Handle insurance verification processes as needed. u2022 Utilize Excel to create and manage spreadsheets for financial tracking and reporting.
