Transcription Editor u2013 Research Support (Temporary) Location: North Dallas, Tx, Hwy 75 and Mockingbird area Duration: Temporary, 1u20132 months / onsite 100% Compensation: $25 per hour, commensurate with experience Start Date: Immediate Work : Weekdays, 30-40 hours per week, some flexibility Position Overview: Kelly Services is seeking a highly detail-oriented and professional Transcription Editor to support one of our client's research team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, editing, and validating AI-generated transcripts, ensuring accuracy and consistency for research analysis. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive research data. The role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in transcription or editing within academic or professional environments. Key Responsibilities: + Review and Edit Transcripts: Assess and refine AI-generated transcripts by cross-referencing with original audio/video recordings to ensure accuracy and fidelity. + Correct Errors and Inconsistencies: Identify and resolve errors, including misattributions, timestamp issues, overlapping dialogue, and contextual inaccuracies. + Apply Standardized Formatting: Ensure all documentation adheres to established transcription and formatting guidelines for use in research. + Data Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential research data with discretion, following all privacy and data protection standards. + Team Collaboration: Support related research and data collection activities as needed, working collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment. Qualifications: + Minimum 1u20132 years of experience in transcription, editing, or a closely related field, preferably in an academic or research setting + Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills + Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively + Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information + Familiarity with transcription software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred Application Instructions: Interested candidates are invited to submit a resume and brief cover letter outlining relevant experience and availability.
