Job Title

Position Summary Take film based and digital intra-oral and extra oral radiographic imaging (e.g. cone beam computed tomography, and bitewing, periapical, occlusal and panoramic views in analog/film and digital/plate/sensor formats). Review radiographs within guidelines. Process and route film based and digital radiographic images. Greet, screen, and direct patients. Confirm patient is authorized for a radiographic examination. Maintain cleanliness of the work area and quality and safety standards; ensure proper recycling, disposal of infectious materials and adherence to infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance. Qualifications Required Education:High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience:1-2 years related experienceRequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to operate basic office equipment, ability to operate a variety of dental equipment, basic MS Word and Excel. Valid New York State Radiology Technology license or Dental Hygiene license.Required Education:Associateu2019s Degree in Dental Hygiene Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to provide radiographic imaging services consistent with current national radiographic and radiologic guidelines Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $38.428. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts.
