Program Mgr Description Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves. Responsibilities: + Lead all phases of new product development projects to meet stakeholder objectives at an accelerated pace + Collaboratively work to clearly define the project scope; develop the project plan to include the budget, schedule, and resource needs. + Drive timely completion of all project team tasks to include engineering design and testing, supply chain management, quality and manufacturing, customer care, marketing, etc. + Create and maintain reports to monitor and control all project tasks while considering risk assessments, performance to targets, budgets and program schedule. + Report out project status to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner to communicate progress toward expected targets. + Use defined stage gate process to guide all project activities and milestone signoffs. + Leverage program management best practices and continuously improve processes to achieve better planning, visibility, performance, and effectiveness. Qualifications + Education: Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field required. + Years of Experience: 2 or more years of experience in related field required. + Software Knowledge: Microsoft office applications, strong skills in project management software such as MS Project, SAP knowledge preferred. + Experience in negotiations, communication, organization, and team building. + PMP certification through Project Management Institute preferred.
