Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a Contract basis in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills and a strong ability to handle both accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities. Responsibilities: u2022 Record and categorize financial transactions accurately in journals or computer systems. u2022 Process invoices, ensuring all data is entered correctly and payments are made promptly. u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including verifying and reconciling accounts. u2022 Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are balanced and discrepancies are resolved. u2022 Collaborate with team members to maintain organized and accessible financial documentation. u2022 Review and verify business transaction details from various documents, such as sales slips and receipts. u2022 Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as needed. u2022 Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies regarding financial information. u2022 Support the accounting team with general administrative tasks. u2022 Ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures. Requirements u2022 Previous experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy. u2022 Familiarity with invoice processing and related accounting tasks. u2022 Strong organizational and time management skills. u2022 Ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies. u2022 Knowledge of accounting software and tools. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and communication.
