Job Summary and Qualifications Functions as a member of the treatment team and accepts responsibilities for specifically assigned duties, such as patient observation rounds, suicide risk observation and assisting with behavior modification probrams. Accountabilities uf0b7 Demonstrates expertise in mental health promotion and maintenance of high quality comprehensive patient care. uf0b7 Displays respect for patientu2019s integrity, patient information and patient rights. uf0b7 Demonstrates expertise in the performance of tasks necessary to maintain a therapeutic milieu and optimum patient care. uf0b7 Escorts patients to and from scheduled activities in a save and professional manner. uf0b7 Performs all specific skills assigned including monitoring vital signs in a complete and accurate manner. uf0b7 Assists with maintaining the cleanliness of the unit. uf0b7 Maintains high level of interpersonal relationships with program staff. uf0b7 Utilizes appropriate skills in telephone etiquette with answering the telephone, making sure to record correct messages and pass along to appropriate staff, including patient inquiries. uf0b7 Demonstrate efficiency in maintaining support services, which are vital to effective program operations. uf0b7 Maintains un it filing and paperwork system, if assigned by nurse manager or charge nurse. uf0b7 Assist with maintaining patientsu2019 activities of daily living. uf0b7 Demonstrates ability to maintain a safe environment.
