Position: Supervisor, Metrology _Location: Whitesboro, New York- ONSITE_ _5 days a week._ _Job Description:_ u2022 Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centers on our commitment to People, Clients and Performance. u2022 As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs. u2022 Travel (approximately 0%) domestic and/or international. u2022 Divides and prioritizes departmental duties between metrology technicians. u2022 Calibrate and maintain assigned laboratory equipment in laboratories. u2022 Schedule and implement any required external calibration with an approved vendor. u2022 Acts as an escort for approved vendor performing maintenance and/or calibration. u2022 Maintain the calibration schedule and equipment lists. u2022 Monitor, calibrate and maintain assigned equipment (e.g., freezers, refrigerators, pipettes, balances, water system, thermometers, weights, ovens, temperature and humidity monitors, REES Environmental System). u2022 Reviews calibration notebooks per associated SOPs/procedures. u2022 Authorship and review of metrology-related SOPs for accuracy and completeness. u2022 Train metrology staff and other staff on all metrology-related SOPs/procedures. u2022 Coordinates and communicates with management to address quality control questions or discrepancies. u2022 May maintain documentation of Operator certification. u2022 Participate in client or regulatory audits with the Quality Assurance department. u2022 On call for REES Environmental system. u2022 Manages the u201con callu201d schedule to ensure coverage in the event of a call out after business hours. u2022 All other duties as assigned #LI-Onsite #LI-HP1 Benefits of Working in ICON: Our success depends on the quality of our people.
