Right now, that function needs a leader who can take a highly manual, decentralized process and build something thatactually scales.This is a transformation role. The right person will assess what exists,identifywhat is broken, and design something better. You will lead a billing team, drive transformation across a critical revenue function, and build the systems andstructuresthat allow Encore to scale without breaking. Day to day, that looks like this:Leadership & StrategyLead and develop a team of AIA billing analysts,establishingclear roles, accountability, and performance expectationsDefine and execute the AIA billing strategy to support growth, scalability, and operational consistencyEstablish a culture of ownership, process discipline, and continuous improvementPartner with AR leadership to align billing execution with cash collection objectivesProcess Optimization & AutomationAssess current-state AIA billing workflows across multiple locations andidentifyinefficiencies and bottlenecksRedesign end-to-end billing processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy and speedIdentifyand implement automation opportunitiesleveragingexisting systems (Sage,ServiceTrade) and workflow toolsEliminatereliance on spreadsheets and manual tracking where possibleDevelop standardized SOPs, templates, and documentationCross-Functional PartnershipOperations / Project Teams (job status, % completion, documentation readiness)Accounts Receivable / Collections (billing accuracy and timing to drive cash flow)IT / Systems (automation, integrations, and workflow improvements)Act as the bridge between field execution and corporate finance to ensure seamless billing processesPerformance Management & ReportingDefine and track key performance indicators, including:Billing cycle timeFirst-pass yield / error ratesRe-bill and rework ratesBilling-to-cash conversion impactDevelop reporting and dashboards to drive visibility and accountabilityUse data toidentifytrends, gaps, and improvement opportunities7+ years of experience in billing, AR, shared services, or finance operations in a high-volume, multi-entity environmentProven success leading process improvement and transformation initiativesExperience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced operational settingDemonstrated ability to drive automation and reduce manual processesExperience working in decentralized or multi-location organizationsWhat Will Make You Stand Out?Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.AIA/construction billing environment experienceSage,ServiceTrade, or similar ERP / field service systemsExposure to M&A integration or scaling operations in high-growth environmentsAt Encore,we’reall about creating a culture where success is celebrated.
