The Associate Designer supports the Senior Designer(s) in the seasonal design development process, from concept to delivery, by contributing original, trend-appropriate design concepts that meet market needs and drive sales and ensuring the timely execution of each stage in the creation process. Skills and RequirementsCreative with excellent sketching abilities and a refined taste levelAbility to take direction for preliminary design research, including competitive analysis, pull fabrics, develop concepts, assemble presentation boards for meetings, prepare mock-ups, color-ups, inspirational imagesExcellent sense of color, ability to put together a color palette, comment on lab dips, etc.Comprehensive understanding of garment construction, fit and finishesUnderstanding of Menswear market and ability to speak to trendsAble to navigate complex organizational matrixesAbility to foster meaningful cross functional relationshipsMinimum 2-3 years in apparel design and degree in FashionAdvanced verbal and written communication skillsPrograms utilized for job: Adobe creative suites, Flex PLM, Browzwear, Kaledo, Miro, various AI programs.In return, we provide an industry-competitive salary, along with a comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision) that includes a matching 401 (k), Summer Fridays, generous PTO, merchandise discounts, excellent career development opportunities, and a work environment that reflects our industry leadership.
