CBRE is looking for a facility Maintenance Technician at a large Hospital in Longview, TX who will take pride in keeping buildings running like clockwork. If youu2019re hands-on, reliable, and ready to grow, we want to hear from you CBRE is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems including mechanical and electrical components. This role supports energy efficiency, ensures compliance with safety codes, and assists with equipment installations and modifications. Ideal candidates have basic mechanical experience, strong organizational skills, and the physical ability to handle manual tasks in a fast-paced environment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What Youu2019ll Do: u00b7 Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. u00b7 Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs. u00b7 Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems. u00b7 Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. u00b7 Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently. u00b7 Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws. u00b7 Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner. u00b7 Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail. u00b7 Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. What Youu2019ll Need: u00b7 High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. u00b7 Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. u00b7 Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. u00b7 Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. u00b7 Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and manage work orders through a CMMS. u00b7 Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
