An International Hotel Group seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Maintenance to work second shift during the week (Noon/1 pm to 8 pm/9 pm) and Weekends (9 to 6 pm) with one weekend off per month. The ideal Candidate will have a proven track record of working in a Luxury Hotel, Apartment, or Condo building. If so, please apply today!Benefits:Salary - $80,000 to $85,000Holiday paySick and Vacation payMedical plan with contribution401K planResponsibilities:Support Director of Facilities/Chief EngineerResponsible for the daily operations within the Maintenance departmentEnsure that the maintenance of the hotel, inside and out, is kept up, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and general carpentryDevelop and implement cost reduction, work simplification, and method improvement programsPrepares and/or evaluates designs and specifications for all Engineering projects, both in-house and contractorsManages regular engineering subcontractors and vendorsSupervises the installation and construction of all work assigned by the Director of Engineering & Property DevelopmentPerforms basic duties of General Maintenance, Electrician, Carpenter, and HVAC person, as neededQualifications:Previous maintenance experience in a hotel, residential, or commercial setting preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent, minimum three (3) years of experience in a Hotel Maintenance Dept.Capable of effectively managing the Maintenance TeamStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to work closely with all Hotel departmentsMust possess or be willing to attain necessary certifications for facilities managementAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and communication skillsStrong attention to detail
