Job Title: School-Based OT or COTA Company: Amergis Educational Staffing Location: Hemet Area (Ku201312 School Sites) Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite, Contract Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday Compensation: OT starting at $70/hr. COTA starting at $40/hr Job Description: Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time, onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support a school district in the Hemet area. The OT/COTA will work with a diverse Ku201312 caseload across multiple school sites and must be available for full-time onsite services Monday through Friday. This contract runs from April 6, 2026 through November 13, 2026, with a strong likelihood of extension for the remainder of the school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team. Responsibilities: + Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in grades Ku201312. + Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development, including goal creation and service recommendations. + Address fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-help, and access-to-curriculum needs. + Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and service logs. + Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers. + Travel between assigned school sites within the Hemet area as needed. + Support the implementation of accommodations, interventions, and classroom strategies. Requirements: + Active California Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. + School-based or pediatric experience preferred. + Ability to manage a Ku201312 caseload across multiple campuses. + Must be available for full-time, onsite services Mondayu2013Friday. + Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills. + Reliable transportation for site-to-site travel.
