Description Hannah Savage with Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations and oversee payroll administration. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, supporting employees, and enhancing workplace culture. Candidates must have extensive experience in all facets of the HR function, including payroll (if utilizing ADP, this is a huge plus), and must be both professional and personable Key Responsibilities + Administer end-to-end payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and timeliness + Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and reporting systems with strict confidentiality + Serve as a resource for employees on payroll, benefits, and company policies; assist with issue resolution and employee relations matters + Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws to reduce organizational risk + Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications + Contribute to HR initiatives by tracking metrics, generating reports, and supporting system improvements + Help develop and interpret HR policies and procedures, recommending enhancements where needed + Promote a positive workplace culture focused on engagement, diversity, and retention + Support workplace safety efforts and ensure adherence to OSHA standards + Coordinate employee wellness programs, training sessions, and development opportunities + Stay informed on HR trends, employment law updates, and best practices + Manage multiple priorities and projects effectively while maintaining strong internal and external relationships + Provide support on special projects and additional duties as assigned by leadership For immediate and confidential consideration, apply today or contact Hannah Savage with Robert Half's Rochester, NY branch today Requirements u2022 Minimum of seven years of experience in human resources management or related roles. u2022 Proficiency in employee relations, HR administration, and benefit functions. u2022 Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and payroll management platforms like ADP Workforce Now. u2022 Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements. u2022 Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. u2022 Effective communication and problem-solving skills to address employee concerns and grievances. u2022 Commitment to continuous development and staying updated on HR best practices.
