Sixth Street Partners in New York, NY, seeks a Vice President to support Sixth Streets Credit Market Strategies business, focusing primarily on the structuring and origination of Sixth Street CLOs, and involved with the Structured Credit team on bespoke investment opportunities. Conduct detailed cash flow modeling, documentation review and value analysis. Prepare and present analytic packages for CLO (collateralized loan obligation) tranche investment discussions. Assist in structured credit infrastructure data base and systems build-out. Interface and negotiate with external counterparties. Track structured credit performance data and assist in preparing marketing materials. Coordinate with internal and external parties for administration of and overall activities related to structured credit fund vehicles. Work with Analysts or Associates within Sixth Street assisting in the due diligence processes for CLO matters and provide mentorship. Perform other duties as needed. A minimum of a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required. Also required is: 5 years of experience: underwriting CLO transactions, conducting due diligence on CLO managers, and structuring CLO deals and tranches across the United States and European markets; using Intex, and proprietary software to analyze and model cash flows for CLO tranches; in portfolio risk management, modeling and optimizing portfolio exposure to credit risk, market risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk and idiosyncratic risk under different market environments; in using quantitative methods, such as Python, Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel VBA to conduct portfolio management and perform sensitivity and stress analyses; and using Microsoft PowerPoint to develop internal and external investment committee presentation materials.
