JOB REQUIREMENTS: Weigh and formulate spices and brines according toproduct recipe Follow recipes Layout, sort and identify various types ofmeat Visually inspect all poduct throughout the formulcatoin processSet-up, change-over, operatoin troubleshooting, minor preventivemaintenance or tooling and break down of choppers, grinders,emulsifiers, mixers and tumblers Perform lock-out/tag-out Wash andsanitize equipment as needed Add spices/brines per productspecifications Follow production schedule and documentation workperformed and raw materials utilized Take and document temperatures asrequired Perform general labor work and other duties as assigned Complywith strict food and worker safety procedures Weigh or measurematerials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance torequirements. Compound or process ingredients or dyes, according toformulas. Read work orders to determine production specifications orinformation. Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe andefficient operation. Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines andmixing for specified times. Dump or pour specified amounts of materialsinto machinery or equipment. Operate or tend machines to mix or blendany of a wide variety of materials, such as spices, dough batter,tobacco, fruit juices, chemicals, livestock feed, food products, colorpigments, or explosive ingredients. Add or mix chemicals or ingredientsfor processing, using hand tools or other devices. Examine materials,ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance toestablished standards. Record operational or production data onspecified forms. Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors forfurther processing. Clean and maintain equipment, using hand tools.Dislodge and clear jammed materials or other items from machinery orequipment, using hand tools. OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Previous food manufacturing experienced preferredPrevious experience following recipes along with tan interest in foodprocessing/cooking preferred Must be mechanically inclined; able toset-up/take down and troubleshoot Familiarity of sanitation and foodhandling protocols within the food industry preferred Good verbal andwritten communicatoin skills are a must Able to count and read weightson a scale; Ability to take/read temperatures Good manual dexterity Mustbe reliable and cooperative APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: ApplyIn Person: 303 E.
