Future Ready NYC Coordinator (aHEO) POSITION DETAILS College Now (CN) is a free CUNY-wide college transition, dual enrollment program for NYC public high school (NYCPS) students. The program enables NYCPS high school students to develop academic momentum toward a college degree, envision options for their future, make informed choices about college and learn how their education can lead to rewarding careers. The Lehman College Now program offers high school students from particular schools in the Bronx the opportunity to enroll in college credit courses free of cost. The Lehman College FRNYC project works with 20 different high schools in the Bronx and prepares their students for high demand careers by providing early college credits, industry recognized credentials and work-based learning experiences. Reporting to the College Now Director, the Coordinator for the FutureReadyNYC (FRNYC) project will be responsible for ensuring effective program delivery and implementation, with focus on student recruitment and success, faculty support, continuous improvement of operations, growth, and data collection reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Coordinate and oversee day-to-day implementation of the FRNYC initiative on campus, while ensuring program activities align with CUNY, FRNYC, and college policies, timelines, and goals. u2022 Serve as the primary liaison between the college campus (within CN), partner high schools, CUNY, and other key stakeholders u2022 Build and maintain strong working relationships with high school administrators, college departments, and CUNY to ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders u2022 Monitor program outcomes and support continuous improvement and assessment efforts u2022 Coordinate student recruitment, eligibility, application, enrollment, participation, orientation, and campus visits (in collaboration with CUNY Explorers at Lehman CN) u2022 Assist CN Director in the interview and selection of instructors for the FRNYC-specific course sections and in coordinating professional development workshops and training sessions for program faculty to ensure consistency and alignment with FRNYC curriculum goals and pedagogical best practices u2022 Collect, track, and analyze program data related to enrollment, participation rates, outcomes, and promotional activities; and prepare surveys and related reports and submit regular status reports and updates to CN Director, as required u2022 Support faculty oversight of studentsu2019 progress, attendance, and engagement u2022 Supervise part-time assistants and intermediaries supporting FRNYC activities QUALIFICATIONS u2022 Bachelor's Degree required and 1-2 years of relevant work experience. u2022 Detail-oriented with strong analytical, evaluative, and research skills u2022 Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building, and presentation skills u2022 Ability to perform successfully in a multi-faceted, fast-paced, time-sensitive, and demanding student-focused and responsive operation serving both internal and external constituents u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team u2022 Computer proficiency using standard office software programs/applications u2022 Familiarity with CUNY and/or NYC public schools systems preferred u2022 Experience working with secondary-postsecondary partnerships, college access programs, or workforce development initiatives preferre CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW Provides basic operational and analytical support related to a College's specialized academic program. - Supports the directors and managers with orientation preparation, student advisement regarding program requirements, and providing basic information about financial aid and registration - Manages office records including faculty files; prepares reports and surveys; collects and maintains statistical data on program activities - Serves as liaison to various College offices to provide service delivery and appropriate referrals to students - Collects and reviews syllabi to ensure compliance with standards - Serves as resource person for students and faculty regarding program policies and procedures - May supervise office operations and/or monitor department budget - Performs related duties as assigned.
