Primary Responsibilities Manages RFP preparation, carrier quote review, client proposal development and carrier negotiations. Communicates carrier specific strengths and weakness to clients throughout the renewal process. Builds and may deliver messaging around fully insured, level-funded and less complex self-funded financial dashboards. Develops fully insured renewal projections, and self-funded marketing and feasibility studies, with guidance from more senior colleagues Models various contribution strategies and articulate pros and cons of different approaches. Writes client facing Executives Summaries that include observations, recommendations and next steps for senior colleague to review. Builds and maintains positive carrier relationships. Work Experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Proficient) Knowledge / user of all WIA EB Analytics models and deliverables including Financial Dashboards, RFPs, forecasting models and contribution modeling. Knowledge of underwriting and analytics value proposition to prospects, clients and WIA colleagues. Performs professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting, more complex, less clearly defined issues. Word, Excel and Power Point. Can analyze data using advance formulas, create charts and graphs, and use templates and design elements effectively. People Management Individual contributor; may provide general guidance/direction to more junior staff informally. Professional Licenses/Certifications Must hold state life and health insurance license Education Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent work experience would be considered CompensationThis position is located in New York. The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $66,200 to $82,400. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications.
