Job Description

Kelly is seeking a field service solar technician that would service a site in Brookston, TX Position is a long term contract role (minimum 3 year position) with the chance to be hired on. Pay is up to $40 per hour and position comes with full benefits including Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, 8 Paid Holidays, 3 weeks of PTO, 401K, and weekly pay Position would require very minimal paid travel and would have some overtime each week - approximately 10-20 hours (paid out at 1.5x base pay). PLEASE NOTE: This position does not provide a work vehicle to take home or per diem. All tools, uniform, and laptop will be provided. You MUST live within an hour of Brookston or be able to relocate within an hour; there is no relocation assistance available. You will be providing service, maintenance, warranty remediation and commissioning for installed photovoltaic inverters, energy storage, plant controls, DC, panels, substation work (most of it is contracted out to an internal team), disconnects, LBDu2019s, etc. This is all on-site at a Solar Farm in Brookston. There will be little to no travel. If there ever is any travel will be paid for by Kelly. Responsibilities to include: u2022 Perform Field Service to ensure 99% up time u2022 Diagnose and repair faulted inverters and energy storage systems u2022 Troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electromechanical, and controls u2022 Conduct annual periodic maintenance inspections u2022 Keep maintenance records of findings u2022 Assist with developing maintenance programs u2022 Perform start-up and commissioning for new PV inverter & energy storage installations. u2022 Inspect physical installation (wiring, connections and mechanical condition) u2022 Power up, set all required parameters and ensure proper operation u2022 Monitor performance and efficiency levels u2022 Maintain high customer satisfaction levels by providing excellent customer service. u2022 Provide accurate and timely product service reports. Required Qualifications: u2022 High School Diploma / GED u2022 Minimum of 2 years industry work experience with inverters Desired Characteristics: u2022 2-year technical degree and/or equivalent certification u2022 Great interpersonal, oral, and written skills are required. u2022 Requires analytical and quantitative skills u2022 Utility Scale Solar industry service experience is required u2022 Must be customer oriented with professional demeanor As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
