Job Description The storage engineering team are responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle, including analysis, evaluation, design, testing, integration and sustained engineering of block storage and data protection products for the our client's enterprise-level storage environment. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements -u2003Currently working within an enterprise-level storage environment -u2003Strong experience in product testing, product engineering, and/or code certification -u2003Experienced in Pure Storage FlashArray block storage products and/or in Rubrik r6000 series data protection products -u2003Experienced in Brocade G series fabric switch products -u2003Capability to follow and deliver Product Development Life Cycle type documentation as part of the product evaluation and certification process -u2003Competent in Windows, Linux/UNIX-like operating systems, I/O and network stack tuning and performance profiling -u2003An understanding how to deliver reliable services out of unreliable components -u2003Familiar with DevOps tools and version control systems (SVN, GitLab) -u2003Familiar with SRE principles such as user journeys, SLI/SLO, and synthetic probers -u2003Strong analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills -u2003Ability to adapt to new technologies -u2003Experience with engineering and operating a hybrid cloud delivery model with focus on data coherency between on-prem and off-prem components. -u2003Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, Bash or other scripting languages with a focus on testing and sound SDLC practices. -u2003Familiarity with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, and Azure) -u2003Familiarity with hypervisors (ESX) -u2003Beneficial, but not required, experience in block storage (Dell, Hitachi), file (Netapp, Dell Unity), and/or backup solutions (Networker, DataDomain). -u2003Familiarity with Elastic Search and Kibana
