Job Description The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects in accordance with scope, budget, and schedule requirements. This role involves managing projects, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and client relations, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. u2003u2022 Oversee projects from proposal through initiation, execution, and closeout. u2003u2022 Manage daily construction activities with the Construction Manager, including budgeting, scheduling, progress tracking, and KPIu2011driven decision-making. u2003u2022 Verify progress, support forecasting, and maintain complete project documentation. u2003u2022 Develop and implement project work plans, defining scope, objectives, and evaluation criteria. u2003u2022 Manage construction schedules using Primavera. u2003u2022 Monitor performance to ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and labor. u2003u2022 Lead weekly meetings to review manpower and equipment needs. u2003u2022 Manage contract execution, change orders, and subcontractor performance. u2003u2022 Document and analyze project risks and implement mitigation strategies. u2003u2022 Resolve conflicts and escalate issues when necessary. (At least $10-$20 million projects) u2003u2022 Supervises other Project Managers and provides mentorship to junior staff. u2003u2022 Contributes to process improvements and supports PMOu2011level strategic initiatives. u2003u2022 Holds required certifications such as PMP, CCM, PE, or equivalent. u2003u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field; preferred, not required Demonstrated experience managing power construction projects. u2022 Strong understanding of power construction specifications, proposals, and documentation used for time, cost, and labor estimating. u2003u2022 Skilled in reading and interpreting civil, structural, and electrical plans and specifications. u2003u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). u2003u2022 Experienced in Primavera for project scheduling. Familiar with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and other applicable safety and construction regulations.
