Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing machinery. You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as supporting capital projects and expansions. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing machinery. + Utilize knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance. + Input and retrieve data and reports from the Computerized Maintenance Management System. + Support capital projects and expansions as needed. + Emphasize safe work practices through adherence to 6S principles. + Fill in for supervision when necessary. + Work weekends or shifts as required, primarily on 2nd or 3rd shifts. Essential Skills + Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance techniques. + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding. + Ability to read blueprints and understand electrical systems. + Experience with preventive maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment. + Welding and machining skills for repairs and light fabrication. + Experience in pipefitting, plumbing, and rigging. + Motor and pump alignment using dial gauges and lasers. + Ability to read mechanical prints. + Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Capability to work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs. + Advise management on potential equipment hazards. + Dependable with strong verbal and written communication skills.
