Job Description The Service Technician is responsible for safely traveling to customer locations to install, service, and repair vending machines and related equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic plumbing and electrical skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $25.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities u00b7 Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair vending machines and related equipment (including water coolers, office coffee systems, microwaves, coolers, freezers, and related technology) u00b7 Remove and replace equipment as needed u00b7 Connect water lines and electrical components in compliance with applicable codes and sanitation standards u00b7 Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions u00b7 Maintain service records, manage parts requests, and support inventory needs u00b7 Operate a company service vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws u00b7 Maintain professional communication and demeanor with customers, suppliers, and coworkers u00b7 Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications u00b7 Valid driver?s license u00b7 Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills u00b7 Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and service manuals u00b7 Basic math skills for service documentation Preferred Qualifications u00b7 One year of experience as a service technician or in a related field Core Competencies u00b7 Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills u00b7 Strong communication and teamwork abilities u00b7 Adaptability to changing priorities and environments u00b7 Time management, dependability, and attention to quality u00b7 Commitment to safe work practices and continuous learning Work Environment & Physical Requirements u00b7 Work performed at customer sites and warehouse locations, including outdoor conditions u00b7 Exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, and airborne particles; personal protective equipment may be required u00b7 Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and repetitive hand motions u00b7 Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance Schedule, Travel & Technology u00b7 15?40 hours per week based on operational needs; occasional evenings and weekends required u00b7 Extensive local travel required u00b7 Participation in the company?s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program is required; employees must maintain a compatible smartphone for work use This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing.
