Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Supervisor to lead and manage payroll operations in Lenexa, Kansas. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the complete payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate bi-monthly payroll for over 500 employees. u2022 Manage multi-state payroll operations while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. u2022 Supervise and mentor payroll staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. u2022 Collaborate with internal departments to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently. u2022 Utilize payroll systems such as Dayforce to streamline processes and maintain accurate records. u2022 Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements and other applicable labor laws. u2022 Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve errors proactively. u2022 Stay updated on changes in payroll tax regulations and wage laws to maintain compliance. u2022 Prepare and review payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Drive process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and accuracy of payroll operations. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5u20137 years of progressive payroll experience, including managing multi-state payroll. u2022 Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and compliance standards. u2022 Proficiency in using payroll systems such as Dayforce, Workday, Oracle, or similar platforms. u2022 Demonstrated ability to process full-cycle payroll for organizations with 500+ employees. u2022 Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to solve complex payroll issues. u2022 Effective communication skills for collaborating with employees and teams at various organizational levels. u2022 Familiarity with prevailing wage requirements and other specialized payroll regulations.
