Job Description

Creative Director, Wunderman Thompson LLC, New York, NY. Develop compelling written content that aligns with visual messaging and supports a cohesive brand narrative. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including brand, strategy, media, design, and production to ensure the delivery of high-quality, on-brand campaigns across multiple platforms. Craft original concepts, executing copy based on established voice/tone, and collaborating with mid- and junior-level writers on copy execution. Support copywriters to maintain a strong, creatively aligned writing team. Apply strong writing skills to craft engaging, persuasive, and audience-relevant content across various touchpoints. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging digital platforms, market dynamics, and cultural shifts to inspire innovative content strategies. Translate complex business objectives into clear, compelling messaging and creative concepts. Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all customer and marketing communications. Play a key role in shaping campaign ideas, ensuring they resonate with diverse audiences and drive brand engagement. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $185,000.00/yr. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have four (4) years of related work experience in design, art direction, or copywriting in an agency setting. Must have four (4) years of experience with/in: Writing in diverse copy styles across a range of assignments; Conceptualizing and collaborating on campaign ideas and digital tactics with the creative team while working on multiple projects; Assisting with drive craft development; Collaborating with strategy, media, experience, and production teams to develop integrated, insight-driven solutions; Transforming ideas into engaging creative storytelling; Drafting briefs, scriptwriting and crafting both short and long-form content; Crafting and presenting compelling stories in a variety of formats and mediums; Setting high standards for storytelling, tone of voice, and brand consistency across all touchpoints; and Translating U.S.-driven brand strategies into a globally unified framework to drive consistency and impact across international markets.
