Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and enhance the financial operations of our organization. This role is based in Seattle, Washington, and offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial management, forecasting, and team leadership, particularly within the construction industry. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses for senior leadership, ensuring clarity and accuracy. u2022 Oversee and evaluate balance sheets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to maintain financial integrity. u2022 Review and verify payroll processes to ensure compliance and accuracy prior to processing. u2022 Collaborate with senior management to develop revenue forecasts and set financial goals. u2022 Manage month-end reporting processes, including reconciliations and financial overviews. u2022 Monitor project lifecycles, including setup, cost tracking, billings, and statements of value (SOVs). u2022 Draft and issue subcontract agreements while coordinating full-cycle subcontractor management. u2022 Conduct cash flow analysis, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and deposit tracking. u2022 Train and mentor the accounting team to improve skillsets and enhance overall team performance. u2022 Identify and implement process efficiencies through financial analysis and reporting. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $140,000 + bonus potential Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Life insurance STD/LTD 401k with match 2 weeks PTO 7 paid holidays Requirements u2022 Proven experience in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities. u2022 Strong knowledge of financial statement audits, account reconciliations, and journal entries. u2022 CPA certification or equivalent accounting qualification is highly preferred. u2022 Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage accounting teams. u2022 Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar financial software systems. u2022 Expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and project lifecycle management within the construction industry. u2022 Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support organizational financial objectives.
