ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST Weu2019re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ . This position is responsible for providing highu2011quality service to both external customers (vendors) and internal departments. As part of this service, maintaining proper paper flow, organization, professionalism, and open communication is essential. BENEFITS & COMPENSATION: ESSENTIAL DUTIES: + Process accounts payable in a timely and accurate manner, including invoice review, matching, and coding. + Reconcile vendor statements and maintain AP files. + Maintain and update the AP log for all vendor invoices. + Contact vendors to ensure timely issuance of invoices and collection of proper supporting documentation. + Determine reimbursement status for received invoices. + Review and approve invoices in the AP system, ensuring correct GL coding and compliance with company policies. + Work with Billers to provide accurate information for customer invoicing. + Submit weekly prioru2011week AP log to FP&A each Tuesday by end of day. + File union reports. + Assist other departments with projects as needed. + Perform general administrative tasks and additional responsibilities assigned by management. + Crossu2011train in all Accounting Clerk and Equipment Clerk responsibilities. + All other duties assigned KEY QUALIFICATIONS: + 2+ years of experience in accounting + Data entry experience + Detail oriented + Strong, professional verbal and written communications skills + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment + High school Diploma or equivalent + The physical activity required for this role includes: + Sitting for extended periods in an office environment + Frequently standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, bending and reaching + Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment + Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds + Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check This role is accepting applications until May 1 st , 2026.
