As the Director, Solutions Engineering, you will build and oversee a new client-facing Solutions Engineering function working directly with the Sales organization. You will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and operating model for Solutions Engineering to accelerate adoption of ATS integrations. You and your team will serve as the primary technical liaison for enterprise integration opportunitiesu2014owning pre-sales technical due diligence, advising clients on workflow and configuration changes, and partnering with Sales and Client Success to drive faster, higher-quality implementations. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Integrations Delivery, Partnerships, Sales, and Client Success leadership to ensure that Indeedu2019s integration capabilities are clearly understood, positioned, and deployed in ways that maximize customer value and business impact. Responsibilities + Build and lead the Solutions Engineering team, defining scope, operating model, and career paths. + Develop and execute strategy to accelerate adoption of integrations across enterprise customers. + Guide technical discovery, solution design, and integration scoping for complex deals. + Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and influence roadmap priorities. + Establish repeatable processes, documentation, and best practices to scale technical operations. + Drive cross-functional alignment on integration strategy, execution, and outcomes. + Monitor metrics, track team performance, and continuously improve efficiency and client impact. Skills/Competencies + Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bacheloru2019s degree; or 12 years and a Masteru2019s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements. + Proven success building or scaling client-facing technical teams in partnership with Sales and Product. + Deep understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, and data exchange architectures. + Experience leading complex technical discussions with enterprise clients, including executive audiences. + Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes and actionable guidance. + Analytical and operational expertise with experience defining metrics, tracking performance, and improving processes. + Collaborative, adaptable, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
