Yes County New York Street Address 199 Church Street City New York State NY Zip Code 10007 Duties Description The incumbent of this position will be responsible for providing access to NYSIFu2019s digital resources (software, servers, files and shared folders) to authorized users in accordance with NYSIF policies and procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:u2022 Address assigned service requests and provide assistance to end users. u2022 Work with business departments to enhance the end user experience when requesting system access. u2022 Contribute to project and initiatives for service delivery improvements to ensure a timely and consistent service experience for end users.u2022 Assist with system access recertification efforts.u2022 Create and maintain user and instructional supporting documentation for user access management services. u2022 Demonstrated ability to engage in good customer service skills when working with end users is required.u2022 Assist with modifying of objects in Active Directory including creation of Security Groups and modification of User AccountsAssisting with the system administration of NYSIFs Identity Access Management Tool. Minimum Qualifications For appointment via NY HELPS: u2022 Bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science; OR u2022 Bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field AND one year of experience in information technology; OR u2022 60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science AND one year of experience in information technology; OR u2022 Two years of experience in information technology. Note: Certain math and business courses, although taken as part of a computer science curriculum, are not counted towards the 15 semester credit hours. For competitive appointment: u2022 List appointment: Reachable on current Civil Service eligible list for this title. u2022 Transfer: Current New York State employee with one year of permanent competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 of Civil Service Law. Appointments via transfer must not result in a second, consecutive transfer with an advancement of more than two S-grades.
