Job Summary: The role is a senior network engineering leadership position responsible for designing, deploying, and operating large-scale, complex enterprise networks across data centers, WAN, and cloud environments. The position requires deep hands-on expertise in Cisco-based infrastructure, ACI, SD-WAN, AWS networking, and advanced routing and switching technologies, along with strong experience leading transformational network initiatives. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive strategic network architecture, ensure high availability and security, and deliver reliable, cost-effective network solutions that support business growth and innovation. Work Experience: Significant experience in network engineering. Team management experience preferred u2022 Solid experience must include designing / deploying / operating large enterprise complex network environments managing data network infrastructure u2022 Hands-on engineering experience with knowledge in the following network technologies: Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, F5 load-balancers, virtual private network (VPN) concentrators, Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, AWS cloud services, DNS, proxy, as well as others for all data centers and branches, etc. u2022 Design, deployment, and troubleshooting experience in multiprotocol label switching (MPLS), border gateway protocol (BGP), open shortest path first (OSPF), enhanced interior gateway routing protocol (EIGRP), spanning tree protocol (STP), ether channels, overlay transport virtualization (OTV), virtual private cloud (VPC), virtual datacenter (VDC), and general knowledge around network time protocol (NTP), simple network management protocol (SNMP), NetFlow, Cisco express forwarding (CEF), security protocols, and network management tools including datacenter network manager (DCNM), network assurance engine (NAE), Live Action, SolarWinds, and Wireshark u2022 Proven related technical experience with planning, engineering, design, and implementation of complex enterprise networks using Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, network management and monitoring systems u2022 Deep experience with network architecture, IT infrastructure, IT application technologies, and frameworks u2022 High level of proven expertise in QoS design and implementation required u2022 Strong hands-on architect/engineer level experience on Cisco Nexus, 6500, 3800, 3900, 3700, 3500, and 2900 required u2022 Hands-on deployment experience on Python and Ansible u2022 Solid experience leading datacenter and WAN transformational network engineering efforts. develop technical standards and interface applications; recommend resources to maintain or expand networks, as needed. u2022 Manage the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the organization's LAN, WAN, and voice networks; manage LAN and WAN security; provide guidance and technical support for LAN/WAN technologies and network systems. u2022 Develop network configuration specifications, maintenance processes and policies, and designs for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint, tower-mounted, and mobile solutions. u2022 Perform research to identify candidate access points and wireless bridge equipment offerings from vendors; develop, validate, and track requirements for wireless access from remote locations and mobile vehicles. u2022 Research, evaluate, and select new products and services; recommend enhancements or improvements to existing network systems. u2022 Monitor deployment and testing processes; troubleshoot network systems, provide technical solutions and/or recommendations for network improvements; resolve network problems. u2022 Details: u2022 Deliver on major transformational projects including datacenter reengineering, consolidation, multi-cloud rationalization and deployments including AWS, Office 365, Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, etc. u2022 Implement designs and deliver on operational objectives by engineering, evaluating, recommending, formulating testing, and implementing plans for current and new network technology u2022 Propose strategic plans and reviews to leadership team; coordinate plans with senior leaders u2022 Prepare and complete action plans u2022 Design cost effective networks, adhere to MUFG and industry best practices u2022 Resolve highly complex problems u2022 Identify trends and patterns in audit results;
