Job Description Must have an active (or ablity to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance u200bu200bu200bu200bu200bu200bThis position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all maintenance and operations support activities for a medium to large maintenance contract and/or small capital project. This position requires a working knowledge and background of assigned work, the ability to appreciate and resolve complex situations with assistance, and see actions as a series of steps. This role requires proficiency in directing general foremen and foremen within their craft as necessary in their roles to meet or exceed all project objectives. u2022 Plan and direct the work activities within assigned maintenance crafts in alignment with available deliverables, tools, equipment, and materials; coordinate with other crafts as necessary u2022 Approve or authorize the coordination of craft personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules u2022 Directly support project and O&M management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities u2022 Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action u2022 Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies u2022 Able to prioritize and schedule Corrective and Preventive Maintenance tasks within Fluoru2019s multi-shift Operations department. u2022 Must coordinate with trades supervisors and project managers in order to de-conflict major maintenance activities while maintaining safe operations of critical equipment. u2022 Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. u2022 Must be able to lead teams to ensure they work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, site safety plans and safe work practices at all times. u2022 Duties include; inspects field work performed; assigns weekly preventative and corrective maintenance tasking; maintains records of work order requests and completion. u2022 Supervises, assigns, and reviews the work of staff; sets performance standards and evaluates staff; reviews performance evaluations prepared by subordinate supervisors; trains, counsels, and disciplines staff; conducts interviews and selects staff to be hired or promoted. u2022 Prepares worker accident reports; identifies and resolves safety hazards for staff; arranges for employee safety training; maintains safety records and personnel certifications. u2022 Other duties as assigned #Intel Basic Job Requirements u2022 Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope; depending on job size and complexity u2022 Typically serve as lead person to coordinate all activities within their assigned scope in an active construction work area u2022 Coordinate and implement indirect activities, internal and external, required to support a productive construction execution; including functional staff support, support craft activities, and any other resource necessary to assure a safe and quality execution u2022 Generally responsible to assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance with all pertinent requirements u2022 Typically represent the company as the in situ senior representative for assigned craft Preferred Qualifications u2022 Accredited degree or global equivalent or minimum six (6) years of project and/or site management experience u2022 Recommend a minimum six (6) years of project and/or site management experience u2022 Comprehensive understanding of facility management, including plant operations, maintenance, engineering, janitorial services, safety, grounds, and related services u2022 Ability to delegate tasks u2022 Familiarity and knowledge of Work Order Control (WOC) procedures and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) u2022 Project experience u2022 Proven ability promoting outstanding customer service and client relations u2022 Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution u2022 Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets and electronic presentation programs u2022 Functional proficiency in project controls, human relations, industrial relations, and contract management as it applicable to assigned area of responsibility u2022 Demonstrated strong decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills We are an equal opportunity employer. Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidateu2019s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
