If you're a motivated professional looking to make an impact in a global industry,apply today and join Calspan's legacy of excellence Responsibilities + Fabrication and mechanical support for test fixtures and equipment, working closely with the engineering department. + Repair and maintain all associated TIRF machinery equipment. + Operation and maintenance of Ingersoll Rand Compressor System in support of high-pressure air requirements. + General support of Tire logistics + Provide training for other mechanics relative to machinery, fixtures, and test systems. + Changing Tires, Fixtures, and associated Hardware as required by test operations in a timely and high quality manner. Qualifications Preferred Education / Experience: + High school graduate or equivalent (preferably from a vocational or technical school) + 5+ years of trades training Preferred Knowledge / Ability: + Use hand and power tools as appropriate and repair small tools + Use a variety of precision measuring instruments, such as rule, square, micrometer, level, speed indicator, etc. + Shop mechanics and operation of machine tools + Electronic and computer skills + Mechanical aptitude, read blueprints Why join Calspan?
