Stop working and start your career with as at Skyline Nursing Center We are looking for a friendly Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Staffing Coordinator who will be responsible for developing and coordinating resident care staffing schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels in the clinical departments in accordance with company guidelines. Coordinate scheduling in an objective manner for nursing services. Plan and schedule staff for the nursing units to assure care for the residents, distributing appropriately throughout the facility and that staffing meets state and federal regulations. Come apply today at 3326 Burgoyne St, Dallas, TX 75233, USA or give us a call (214) 330-9291 Principal Responsibilities u2022 Prepares all schedules for the nursing units and maintains four (4) weeks of posted schedules on the nursing units. u2022 Oversees nursing department scheduling in an objective manner, including vacations and holidays. u2022 Performs nursing department corrective action in accordance with company policy. u2022 Ensures accuracy of nursing payroll, including verifying hours worked, absences, vacations, PTO, etc.; verifies accuracy of timesheets with schedules and reconciles all attendance data for clinical department. u2022 Accurately documents activities- Sick, absent, floating, schedule changes, OT, extra shifts) on staffing sheets. u2022 Managing staffing, updating employee data, and auditing shifts and schedules, to ensure employees meet the requirements for shifts. u2022 Prepares and coordinates education schedules as required. u2022 Aiding in the training of new employees, and offering guidance, assistance, and direction during orientation and thereafter. u2022 Responds appropriately to inquiries and complaints about staffing and scheduling, takes the initiative to resolve problems with appropriate action and follow through, including documentation. u2022 Completes nursing hours reports daily. u2022 Completes scheduling and paperwork for new nursing employees. u2022 Keeps schedules up to date with personnel changes. u2022 Types memos for any changes in schedules, weekend coverage, holiday coverage and all vacation coverage. u2022 Attends phones in appropriate manner with proper routing of calls. u2022 Maintains computerized schedules within the scheduling software and company software. u2022 Completes data entry and typing as required. u2022 Assist with scheduling of resident appointments if needed. u2022 Fills in as needed and within scope of practice with clinical direct care and other duties in nursing. u2022 Increase staff retention through the development of efficient scheduling. u2022 Available after hours to be on-call or to otherwise be available to respond to calls using a facility issued phone; Must record hours worked. u2022 Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or assigned at any time with or without notice. Qualifications u2022 High school diploma or equivalent is required. u2022 Currently licensed as a CNA in the state practiced. u2022 Minimum of one-year long term care experience required. u2022 Strong personal organization and time management ability with attention to detail. u2022 Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel and Word applications.
