DescriptionShift Description: DE0-0700 Department: Admin/Support Amazon is seeking a bright, motivated, hardworking individual to fill the Visual Communications Specialist position at our CHA1 Returns Center in Chattanooga, TN. The Visual Communications Specialist will need to audit, inspect, and manage all communications within our facility. This role serves as the quality control checkpoint for our internal messaging, ensuring clarity, consistency, and visual impact across all communication channels. You'll work directly with senior leadership to maintain communication standards and drive engagement across the organization The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, high level of integrity, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to customer service as it relates to product fulfillment. Key job responsibilities The Communications Specialist will own auditing, facilitating and creating communications internal to CHA1. The Communications Specialist will be critical in making Amazon Earthu2019s Best Employer by making CHA1 communication, both visual and verbal, world class. The Visual Communications Specialist will work closely with the CHA1 Senior team. Tasks may include but are not limited to creating and updating visual communications (ACID feeds, billboard signage, etc.) throughout the entire building including for specific process paths. This role will require candidates to have the following skills: u00b7 Attention to detail u00b7 Ability to work against tight deadlines u00b7 Creative mind with timely execution u00b7 Strong communication skills both written and verbal u00b7 Outgoing personality u2013 must be able to partner with many different stakeholders and customers and solicit feedback proactively from these groups u00b7 u201cNo job too smallu201d mentality Required Skills Audit & Inspection Experience: Proven track record conducting systematic audits of communication materials, documentation, or visual content with attention to detail and quality standards Accountability Mechanisms: Experience implementing and managing accountability systems, tracking metrics, and driving compliance with established standards Senior Leadership Engagement: Demonstrated ability to present findings, recommendations, and strategies to director-level and above audiences with confidence and clarity Communication Management: Strong project management skills for coordinating multiple communication initiatives simultaneously across various channels Quality Assurance: Ability to establish and enforce quality standards for written and visual communications Stakeholder Management: Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities Preferred Skills Adobe Creative Suite: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or other Adobe design tools for creating and editing visual communications AI Tools: Experience with AI-powered design and communication tools (e.g., generative AI for content creation, AI-enhanced editing tools) Data Visualization: Ability to transform complex data into clear, compelling visual stories Digital Signage Systems: Familiarity with digital display management platforms Analytics: Experience measuring communication effectiveness through engagement metrics and feedback mechanisms Change Management: Background supporting organizational change through strategic communications Bilingual: Proficiency in second language (Spanish) a plusBasic Qualifications- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - High school or equivalent - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredPreferred Qualifications- 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
