We are conducting preliminary, u201ccontingentu201du00a0hiring foru00a0roles associated with this contract. The work start is dependent upon THOR being awarded this contract.u00a0 Typical Responsibilities:u00a0u00a0 + Plan, organize, and conductu00a0system surveillance to ensure shipbuilder compliance with EVMS guidelines,u00a0developingu00a0review processes and timelines for EVM deliverables whileu00a0consolidatingu00a0findings into clear, actionable assessments.u00a0 + Maintain the surveillance of the Shipbuilderu2019s IMS for the programu00a0andu00a0conduct detailed analysis of the Shipbuilderu2019s IMS and any u201cmini-networku201d or other Shipbuilder produced schedules for all OPCs under the USCG contract.u00a0 + Perform Quality Assurance (QA) for andu00a0monitoru00a0the OPC event-based IMS.u00a0 + Support validation of Shipbuilder EVM reports by reconciling cost, schedule, and performance data, and applying analytical methodologies to assess overall system health andu00a0identifyu00a0underlying issues.u00a0 + Assistu00a0inu00a0determiningu00a0Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) compliance and Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis. Review the external cost andu00a0scheduleu00a0reports to ensure that theyu00a0containu00a0information derived from accepted/validated systems.u00a0 + Evaluate data submittals, engineering change proposals, and Requests for Waiver/Deviation for production impact.u00a0 + Conduct production surveillance in Shipbuilderu2019s facilities and onboard the under-construction OPC cutter to assess and compare the status of actual production and the Shipbuilderu00a0submittedu00a0IMS.u00a0 + Prepare narrative reports, trackers,u00a0listsu00a0and spreadsheets asu00a0appropriate tou00a0document findingsu00a0in accordance withu00a0standard EVM Center policy and processes.u00a0u00a0 + Analyze program expenditures by comparing planned versus actual costs across WBS levels, funding documents, cost accounts, work packages, and labor/non-labor categories, and report detailed findings to leadership and the COR.u00a0 + Attend meetings in relation to assigned tasks and asu00a0designatedu00a0by the COR. Prepare and provide presentations with EVM status.u00a0 Location:u00a0Primarily onsite at USCG Shipyard Facility inu00a0Mobile, AL.u00a0 Travel:Up to 10%u00a0travelu00a0isu00a0anticipated.u00a0 Typical Physical Requirements:u00a0Mix of desk/computer work in an office environment and periodic visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. Mayu00a0involveu00a0repetitive motion, traversing shipboard environments (e.g., confined spaces, ladders, hatches) or vision.u00a0u00a0 Eligibility for a SECRET Security Clearance is Required: This position requires eligibility for a Secret security clearance, to be obtained afteru00a0hire.
