Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the complete accounting cycle for a dynamic, multi-location organization based in Lexington, Kentucky. This role demands expertise in QuickBooks, a strong grasp of accounting principles, and the ability to provide training and support to bookkeepers at other sites. Occasional day travel to various locations within the region will be required. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review. u2022 Conduct thorough bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. u2022 Post journal entries and assist with all aspects of the month-end closing process. u2022 Analyze profit and loss statements against budgets and review balance sheet activities. u2022 Maintain precise financial records across multiple locations to ensure consistency. u2022 Train and support bookkeepers at other sites, providing clear guidance on accounting practices. u2022 Travel within the region 3u20135 times per month for day visits to other locations. u2022 Implement and support process improvements to enhance accounting efficiencies. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a strong attention to detail. u2022 At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or managing full-cycle accounting processes. u2022 Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Pro is highly preferred. u2022 Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain accounting concepts. u2022 Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
