Description We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is based in Chicago, Illinois, and requires on-site work two days per week. In this role, you will support our operations by accurately inputting purchase order details into our system and ensuring data integrity. Responsibilities: u2022 Enter purchase order details accurately and efficiently into the Yardi system. u2022 Verify and cross-check data for errors or discrepancies to maintain high standards of accuracy. u2022 Support the accounts payable process by ensuring data is properly recorded and organized. u2022 Collaborate with team members to resolve any data inconsistencies or issues. u2022 Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care. u2022 Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with organizational policies. u2022 Produce reports or summaries based on entered data when required. u2022 Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for data entry tasks. u2022 Assist with additional administrative duties as needed to support the team. Requirements u2022 Previous experience in data entry or a related field. u2022 Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. u2022 Familiarity with the Yardi system is highly desirable. u2022 Proficiency in numeric and alphanumeric data entry. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong verbal and written communication skills. u2022 Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus.
